So what is A.P.O.S i hear you ask?

A.P.O.S stands for Adopt a Purple Orb Society. (page title duh!)

But what is a "Purple Orb" ? you ask again

A purple orb is more commonly known as "FSP" , FSP refers to "Fallen Sword Points" in the ever popular browers based game "fallensword" (see links) here is what one looks like, actually lets put a few on:-

So here is the background story:-

Within the fallensword game fsp's are used to buy items and upgrades and are traded and used left right and center by over 2.2 million players, fsp's are sometimes very expensive within the game and sometimes hard to come by, trading of these fsp's is taken way TOO seriously by many players.

A.P.O.S IS BORN:

The story behind the Society.

The A.P.O.S Acronym or something very similar was first mentioned in the Guild chat of Celtic Warriors on or around 03 Oct 2008 by the player called Gerbilman, many other guild members were also in the chat at the time making various comments and suggesting various Acronyms with different meanings.

All just a bit of fun at the time.

The player called laughalot then took it upon himself to create A.P.O.S as we know it now , and the Adopt a Purple Orb Society was born.

The idea behind A.P.O.S is to put a bit of fun back into the movement of fsp's,and to maybe help players have a little much needed fun while playing fallensword.
